Privacy Policy for Effizient Finance

1. Data stored by Effizient Finance

Effizient Finance is designed to store your financial data locally on your device.

Information you enter into the app, such as expenses, receipts, categories, amounts, dates and other financial information, is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on servers operated by Aelien.

Aelien does not have access to this locally stored financial information.

2. Receipt scanning and OCR

Effizient Finance can use your device's camera and images to scan receipts and extract text.

The app uses Google ML Kit Text Recognition for OCR processing. The text recognition functionality processes images on the device. Receipt images and the extracted financial information are not transmitted by Effizient Finance to Aelien's servers.

Receipt data remains under your control on your device.

3. Advertising

Effizient Finance uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process certain information automatically, including information such as:

• IP address
• Advertising or device identifiers
• Information about interactions with advertisements
• App and device information
• Diagnostic and performance information

This information may be used for purposes including advertising, analytics, fraud prevention and improving the delivery and performance of advertisements.

The processing of this information is performed by Google and is subject to Google's own privacy policies and terms.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising consent choices are presented where required by applicable law. Depending on the user's choices, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.

You can manage or withdraw your advertising consent through the privacy options provided within the app.

4. No user accounts

Effizient Finance does not require you to create a user account.

Aelien does not maintain an account containing your personal financial information.

5. No analytics or tracking by Aelien

Effizient Finance does not use a separate analytics service to track your activity within the app.

Aelien does not intentionally collect personal information about your financial activity, purchases or receipts.

Third-party services used by the app, such as Google AdMob, may nevertheless process certain technical information as described in this Privacy Policy.

6. Data deletion

Because your financial data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it using the deletion functionality provided by the app.

Uninstalling Effizient Finance will also remove locally stored app data, subject to the standard behavior of your Android device and any backups managed by the operating system.

Aelien does not maintain a server-side copy of your financial data that would need to be deleted.

7. Data security

Because financial information is stored locally on your device, the security of that information also depends on the security of your device, including its screen lock and other Android security features.

Aelien does not transmit your financial information to its own servers.

8. Children's privacy

Effizient Finance is not specifically directed at children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be made available at the same privacy-policy URL and will include a new "Last updated" date.
